Everyone is welcome. People at MTU.

We asked some of our students why they enjoy working at MTU.

Myren, intern in our aerodynamics department

"An internship at MTU after I finished secondary school sparked my fascination with technical connections, mathematically solvable problems, and many exciting working fields derived from them. That’s why I decided to study mechanical engineering, and now I’m back at MTU as an intern, this time in the aerodynamics department. What I especially like about my work is getting to work on cutting-edge technology every day, along with the freedom we're given and the open corporate culture. Working toward the shared aim of ever safer and more efficient aviation motivates me in everything I do each day."

Nikolas, first an intern and now a student writing his master’s thesis in structural mechanics at MTU

During my time as a student writing my master’s thesis in the structural mechanics department at MTU, I can get involved in sophisticated and challenging projects. I really like the unique combination of challenging tasks, excellent support from co-workers, and the close connection between research and industry. It’s interesting to be a part of a team working at the leading edge of technological development.

Hit the ground running at one of our three locations in Germany

At MTU, people from different cultural backgrounds, with different histories and skills, come together to contribute their individual strengths and ideas. We think that’s exactly what makes us an unbeatable team – a team where everyone works together and gives their all to shape the aviation world of today and tomorrow.
