Integrating employees with limitations
Employees with disabilities have their interests represented by group-wide representatives for the severely handicapped and by corresponding local organizations. Both confidants of our handicapped-employee representation and employees of the Human Resources Management division can assist employees experiencing limitations.
They can talk to their managers, advise them on special support benefits, help fill out the corresponding paperwork and mediate for them with public offices and agencies. These persons can also advise and assist employees with limitations who wish to adapt their workstations by installing, for example, special furniture, lighting, ramps, etc.
Even off company grounds, MTU supports measures to integrate people with disabilities, for example by placing orders with work centers for the handicapped.
