Junior Entry and Trainee Program – JET
Jumpstart Your Career at MTU – with JET ….
With the JET program, which is aimed at recruiting and retaining young talent, MTU addresses highly-motivated graduates and young professionals with an excellent academic record. Positions for JET trainees are created in areas where a lack of qualified managers-to-be has been identified. Thus, the trainees participating in the program will know from the outset which position they will fill later at MTU. These target positions form the basis for defining the requirement profile and the selection criteria.
Career Possibilities
The JET program extends over a period of 18 months. During this time, the trainees will be assigned to various projects to give them a comprehensive insight into the structures and processes at MTU. Depending on the target position, JET trainees may also be deployed to MTU's international locations. A plan tailored to the trainees' qualifications and capabilities will navigate them through the trainee program, and a JET pilot will be there to provide assistance whenever needed.
Of course, individual development plans will be defined for each trainee, with the seminars and workshops for further training the trainees are expected to attend being tailored to their individual background. In addition, we encourage networking among the trainees and provide support by suitable measures.
