Fabrication and quality management

MTU's products are in demand worldwide, thanks to the company's innovative manufacturing processes, effective quality management and occupational health and safety and environ-mental protection efforts.

The manufacturing area is mainly responsible for the production of rotor and stator components, blades and vanes for aircraft engines and stationary gas turbines. Moreover, the company develops, manufactures and markets brush seals, assembles military and commercial engines and modernizes, develops and builds machines and facilities for production as well as measuring equipment.

The quality management area makes sure that all MTU products comply with the company's exacting quality standards. Jointly with other technical areas, quality assurance defines MTU's quality, occupational health and safety and environmental protection targets and monitors compliance with the agreed key indicators. Any nonconformances found on products are assessed by a team comprising members of the affected areas, for instance design engineering or stress analysis, and suitable measures are initiated to eliminate defects.

For our fabrication and quality management areas we are looking for technology enthusiasts who share our understanding of quality, precision and efficiency and support the continuous improvement process in manufacture and assembly with new and innovative ideas. Apart from profound technical knowledge in their respective area applicants should have strong team-player skills.
