Your application for a position at MTU

Procedure

Ideally, applications should be sent approximately four months before the desired start of the internship, working student stint or work on a research paper, using our online application form at www.mtu.de/karriere. Frequently, however, an application made as late as four weeks before the starting date may still be considered, because student employment is planned on a short-term basis in some departments. Work on the diploma thesis and research paper subjects offered by the company should start as soon as possible.

Online applications shall be accompanied by the documents listed below:

letter of application
curriculum vitae
school-leaving certificate
training certificate (if you have completed a vocational training)
internship references
and university performance record.

If there is no possibility to scan documents, a preliminary overview of marks can be attached as a Word file instead.

Upon receipt of the application we will send an email confirming that the application has been received. Unless we send a letter of rejection, the application will remain active in our system. We will inform applicants if there are any changes in the status of their application.

Entry date and term of employment

Entry dates can be individually agreed. The minimum duration of an internship at MTU is eight weeks.
