Why write your thesis for the archives when you can do it for Germany's leading high-tech company in the area of aero engines and gas turbines? As a student from a university or university of applied sciences at MTU, you have the chance to complete your thesis in a wide variety of fields, like

aerospace technology,
material science,
industrial engineering,
and similar courses of study

with the assistance of international experts. For the Munich site, you will find specific topics on the Internet under the heading Diplomarbeit/Studienarbeit. Please apply only once, even if you find several topics that interest you. But do mention the other topics of interest in your application.

The Hannover and Berlin-Brandenburg sites do not advertise specific topics. Please apply with your own topic suggestion using the online application form. Generally, your attendance at the workplace is not required if you are taking the Diploma or an internship seminar. Thus you can conduct the research for your thesis or seminar paper outside the company and write it up at home with the permission of your mentor.

Ideally you should apply about three to four months before your desired starting date using our online application form. Frequently, however, an application made as late as four weeks before the starting date may still be considered, because employment for students in some departments is planned on a short-term basis. Send us your complete application with

a letter of application
a curriculum vitae
a diploma or training certificate
if applicable, internship testimonials and university transcripts

using the online application form in the placement service "Jobbörse" at "online bewerben". If you do not have the possibility to scan in your transcripts, you can send us a preliminary overview of your marks as a Word attachment.
