Healthy employees are a prerequisite for the performance of a company. It goes without saying that MTU complies with all statutory provisions relating to occupational safety and health. Of course, as an employer, MTU is also adapting to the changed working and everyday lives of our employees: With its comprehensive and sustainable health service, the company tries to prevent not only the physical but also the psychosomatic health risks.

Health service

MTU’s health service comprises the entire spectrum of occupational and emergency medicine, environmental medicine, corporate health promotion and general medicine. In addition, MTU employees are encouraged to take care of their health. The company's health management service offers, for example, preventive medical checkups, such as colon and thyroid screenings, or fitness training courses, stress management and healthy eating seminars.

Social counseling service

With intensive one-on-one talks with employees, prevention courses and training sessions, social counseling is primarily aimed at enhancing the social, communicative and mental faculties of the employees. After all, an expert who looks at situations such as family problems, stress or substance abuse from a different and neutral angle, is better able to assess the situation and come up with longterm workable solutions together with the individuals affected. Furthermore, MTU’s social counseling service provides support to managers to help them perform their jobs effectively and fulfill their social responsibility.

Company sports club

For employees who wish to practice sports in their free time, the company has set up sports clubs at its Munich and Hannover locations. MTU employees have already celebrated numerous victories in marathon runs, ski races and soccer tournaments. What's most important, however, is the fun of doing sports together with colleagues and also with spouses and chil-dren who are invited to participate as well.

Health Center

Our Health Center at MTU’s Munich location allows all Munich employees to practice in between at extremely favorable terms. The center is located directly adjacent to the company premises and offers convenient opening hours from 6:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m. The Health Center's offerings include modern fitness machines on an area of more than 300 square meters, a wide range of courses in cardio training and work out, professionally trained physical therapists and fitness instructors available on-site. Last not least MTU´s health center integrates a practice for occupational therapy and a professional team of physiotherapists offering high quality physical therapeutic exercise.
