MTU's Family-friendly Human Resources Policy Makes the Company an Attractive Employer
As in previous years, MTU took part in the Career & Family audit, which is conducted under the aegis of the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, and won the coveted quality seal.
With the excellent employment conditions MTU is offering, such as flexible working hours, teleworking or modern health management and disease prevention, the company is pursuing a family-friendly human resources policy to enable it to remain a TOP employer for our current and potential new employees. With multifaceted offerings in support of women and compatibility of work and family, such as the "TurBienchen e.V." child daycare facility or the MTU family service, we are setting the course for the future to be able to meet the challenges of demographic change.

As early as 2002, MTU for the first time won the Career & Family certificate for its family-friendly human resources policy. But the company did not rest on its laurels being well aware that a strong family-conscious corporate culture also requires continuous enhancement and timely adaptation of its offerings to suit the way of life of a modern workforce. The recertifications obtained in 2005 und 2008 testify to the success of MTU's efforts in this field.
The Career & Family audit bases on an initiative of the non-profit Hertie Foundation and is a management tool for the ongoing improvement of a family-friendly human resources policy. In the process, 150 different measures are evaluated, potentials for improvement are identified and concrete target agreements tailored to suit the circumstances prevailing at the company audited are entered into. Upon successful completion of this process, participating companies and institutions are awarded the basic Career & Family audit certificate
