By car
On the A2 motorway from Dortmund
- Continue on the A2 to the interchange, Hannover West, then turn off on the A352 towards Hamburg.
- Exit at Hannover-Flughafen; turning off to the right.
- Take the next turn to the right, towards the airport.
- Then left into Münchner Straße.
- MTU is a further 2 km on the left.
On the A2 motorway from Berlin
- Continue on the A2 to the exit Hannover-Langenhagen (do not exit at Bothfeld), follow the airport signs.
- You are now on the airport road.
- After approx. 4 km turn left (at the 3rd traffic lights) into Münchner Straße.
- MTU is a further 2km on the left.
On the A7 motorway from Kassel
- Continue on the A7 to interchange Hannover Ost, then exit on to the A2 towards Dortmund.
- Exit at Hannover-Langenhagen (do not exit at Bothfeld), follow the airport signs.
- You are now on the airport road.
- After approx. 4 km turn left (at the 3rd traffic lights) into Münchner Straße.
- MTU is a further 2 km on the left.
On the A7 motorway from Hamburg
- Continue on the A7 to the interchange Hannover Nord, then turn off on the A352 towards Dortmund.
- Exit at Hannover-Flughafen.
- Straight ahead at the crossroads into Münchner Straße.
- MTU is a further 2 km on the left.
By train
- At Hanover main station, take the S5 to the airport (platform 2).
- Get off at Langenhagen-Mitte.
- Take the 253 bus, which services the industrial area of Godshorn, the service is known as the "Ringlinie”. Leave the bus at the busstop directly in front of MTU.
- Alternatively you can hail a taxi to MTU.
By plane
At the airport terminal, take a taxi to MTU. This takes approximately 5 minutes.
