If you arrive by car
Coming from any direction, take the A99 and get off the motorway at the München-Ludwigsfeld exit. Turn off onto Dachauer Straße, direction Karlsfeld/Dachau. From there it’s a few hundred meters to MTU’s main gate which you'll see on your left.

If you arrive by plane
At Munich airport, it is recommended to take rapid transit S1 headed for the central station (Hauptbahnhof). Get off at Moosach and take a taxi to MTU Aero Engines’ main gate. In all, it takes about 30 minutes from the airport to MTU. Alternatively, from the Moosach stop, take bus No. 710 or 176 headed for Karlsfeld and get off at Kristallstraße, which is right across from MTU.
Or take a taxi right from the airport and you’ll be at MTU within 20 minutes.
If you arrive by train
From Munich's central station (Hauptbahnhof), you have several choices to arrive at MTU Aero En-gines (transit time: about 40 minutes):
Take rapid transit S1 headed for Freising/Flughafen (airport) as far as the Moosach station. From there, take buses 710 or 176 headed for Karlsfeld and get off at the Kristallstraße stop, which is right across from MTU. The buses leave every 20 minutes starting at 5:26 a.m.
Or take rapid transit S2 headed for Dachau/Petershausen and get off at Karlsfeld rapid train station. From there, take the commuter bus to MTU's south gate (bus connections every 10 minutes between 5:42 and 9:12 a.m). Transfer from the MTU back to rapid transit stop Karlsfeld is available between 2:00 and 7:00 p.m.
Or take underground railway U2 headed for Feldmoching and get off at the terminal stop. From there, take bus 172 headed for Karlsfeld and get off at the Kristallstraße stop. The bus leaves every 20 min-utes from 6:00 to 9.00 a.m. and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and every 40 minutes from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Otherwise, to save time, we recommend to take a taxi from rapid train stations Karlsfeld or Moosach or from underground railway station Feldmoching to MTU's main gate.
