Finding your way by car
Approaching from all directions follow the A92 until the Munich Airport (Flughafen München) junction and turn off in the direction of Hallbergmoos/Flughafen München (Franz Josef Strauss). Continue along on the airport grounds, following the signs for Erding/Schwaig. After you have left the airport premises, continue for about four kilometers and then turn off in the direction of Erding and Markt Schwaben. Follow the road until the Erding-Nord exit. At the junction turn right in the direction of Erding. Continue straight ahead and follow the signs for the airbase. At the fourth set of traffic lights, turn left. After approximately 200 meters you will see the Fliegerhorst Erding gate on your right.

Finding your way by plane (Munich Airport)
It is advisable to take a taxi from the airport, which will take about 20 minutes to get to MTU Aero Engines’ facility at Fliegerhorst Erding. Alternatively, you could hire a car. If you do, continue with the description of how to find us by car.
Finding your way by train
From Munich central station take the S2 rapid train in the direction of Erding. Leave the train at the Erding station (final stop) and from there take a taxi to the Fliegerhorst Erding gate. The whole trip takes around 50 minutes.
Registration at the Fliegerhorst gate
Please register at the gate and have your passport or personal identification ready to show. Follow the signs on the Fliegerhorst premises directing you to MTU’s facility. You should plan about 15 minutes for registration.
