Egon W. Behle (born in 1955)

Egon Behle
Egon W. Behle has taken the helm of MTU Aero Engines, effective the beginning of 2008. Behle, who has a degree in aerospace engineering, comes from ZF Lenksysteme GmbH, where he has served as CEO since 2002. After his graduation from university in 1982, Behle joined Robert Bosch GmbH. Thereafter, he went to work for Dornier System GmbH, where he held the position of director sales, orbital systems and ground infrastructure. As from 1991, Behle served various managerial positions at Renk AG, a company of the MAN Group. In 1994, he was appointed sole managing director of Fortuna Spezialmaschinen GmbH, and in 1997, he joined ZF Friedrichshafen AG, where he led several business units.

Reiner Winkler (born in 1961)

Reiner Winkler
Reiner Winkler, who holds a degree in Business Administration, has served as Executive Vice President for Finance and Controlling at MTU since 2001. In May 2005, he became a member of the Board of Management of MTU Aero Engines Holding AG, with responsibility for Finance, Human Resources and IT. Winkler previously held managerial positions at Siemens AG as well as Daimler-Benz AG, now Daimler AG. In 1993, he joined TEMIC Telefunken Microelectronic GmbH, a DaimlerChrysler subsidiary, where he became Managing Director for Finance and Controlling in 1998.

Dr. Rainer Martens (born in 1961)

Dr. Rainer Martens
Dr. Rainer Martens studied mechanical engineering and received his doctorate at Hannover University. From 1991 to 1997, he worked for the Airbus site at Varel, where he started his career as production manager. In 1997, Martens joined MTU Aero Engines GmbH, where he headed the turbine blade/vane production center. In 2002, Martens transferred to Airbus in Bremen to become Vice President of Airbus's Bremen site and head of the center of excellence Wing/High Lift. Martens was appointed a member of MTU Aero Engines Holding AG's Board of Management effective April 15, 2006, assuming the roles of Executive Vice President Engineering/Production & COO.

Dr. Stefan Weingartner (born in 1961)

Dr. Stefan Weingartner
Dr. Stefan Weingartner, who holds a Masters degree in Physics (Dipl.-Phys.) and an MBA, has been appointed a member of MTU Aero Engines Holding AG's Board of Management as of November 2007, serving as the company's President and CEO Commercial Maintenance. After he had earned his doctorate in Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) from Munich Technical University, Weingartner joined Dasa. In 1996, he became DaimlerChrysler Aerospace's Japan Representative and in 1999, was appointed Director and Vice President of DaimlerChrysler Aerospace Japan Holding Inc. and Regional Director North-East Asia (China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan) for Dasa, before he took the helm of EADS Japan Co. Ltd., which he led as President and Managing Director from 2000 to 2001. Another position in which Weingartner gained international experience was that of Managing Director of MTU Turbomeca Rolls-Royce GmbH. He joined MTU in 2002 to become its Senior Vice President, Defence Programmes.
