In March 2010, MTU Aero Engines opened its new sales office in the Atlanta, Georgia, metropolitan area. MTU's new branch office forms part of the organization of its wholly-owned affiliate MTU Aero Engines North America (AENA).
The office will market the full range of maintenance services offered by MTU under the roof of its MTU Maintenance brand. MTU Maintenance is the world's largest independent provider of commercial maintenance services.
Strategic location
Atlanta was selected as the location for the new sales office due to its proximity to the home bases of all airlines, leasing companies and other major industry players in North and Central America. From there, MTU’s representatives can reach any of their U.S.-based customers within a matter of only a few hours.
