Aluminum oxide wet blasting

Wet blasting serves to clean and roughen the surfaces of components prior to the application of functional coatings. The process is also used to remove burrs, to round edges and to roughen surfaces for subsequent bonding. In the process sharp-edged abrasive particles are accelerated with the carrier medium water and directed onto the component surfaces through nozzles.
