CLEAN

The acronym CLEAN stands for Component vaLidator for Environmentally friendly Aero eNgines, a technology program funded by the European Union and aimed at developing new engine concepts with an extremely low ecological impact. Key features of such engines include a reduction gearbox between low-pressure turbine and fan and heat exchangers.
