Cleaning

Components must be cleaned prior to repair, inspection and non-destructive testing. Perfectly clean surfaces are an indispensable prerequisite for satisfactory crack inspection results. Cleaning methods include deoxidizing (removal oxide layers) and paint stripping (removal of organic and inorganic paints).
