Electroless nickel plating
Electroless nickel platings provide protection against corrosion and wear. They can also be used as brazing alloys for high-temperature vacuum brazing. The required plating thickness can be precisely achieved; thus there is no need for subsequent finish-machining (as e.g. with hard-chromium or nickel-sulphamate platings), even if very close tolerances are involved.
