Engine 3E

Engine 3E is a German-government sponsored research program where 3E stands for Environment, Efficiency and Economy. Under this program MTU is maturing technologies to reduce noise levels by 10%, carbon dioxide emissions by 20% and Nox emissions by 85% by the year 2010.
