Thermal spraying

With thermal spraying coating materials are applied on the component surfaces in molten, partially molten or pasty condition and at a relatively high kinetic energy. The process does not cause melting of the substrate surfaces. The coating materials are available as powders, wires or rods. As these materials pass a heated gas their thermal or kinetic energy is increased.
