Word-class test stands

MTU's Berlin-Brandenburg location boasts one of the largest and most advanced test stands for industrial gas turbines worldwide.

One of only two of its kind worldwide, it is designed to accommodate and test LM2500™, LM2500Plus™ and LM6000™ gas turbines under real operating and load conditions. LM5000™ turbines are tested on an aircraft engine test bed.

During testing at MTU, highly-stressed components can be put through their paces. This ensures the maintenance work is performed in accordance with the best industry practice.
