Vericor's ETF40B marine gas turbine is an aero-derivative engine that is mainly used in navy hovercraft applications to drive propulsion and lift fans. This engine replaces the very successful TF40B engine with an increase of about 20 percent in power output. The ETF40B engine is used by many navies including the US Navy, the Republic of Korea Navy and the Navy of the Japanese Self Defense Forces.
