Summary:
The Project Engineer works with the project team leader on engineering activities for assigned projects/tasks. He/She will plan, schedule and coordinate engineering work between all disciplines and other project participants.
Essential functions:
- Drive tasks to completion, on time and within budget
- Lead team meetings, record meeting minutes and action items as required
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects
- Integrate multi-discipline requirements including Aero, Structures, Design, Drafting, Manufacturing & Procurement
- Prepare and present information at discipline and/or program reviews
- Provide periodic updates to team leader and team members highlighting accomplishments, progress, technical issues and any potential roadblocks
- All other duties as assigned by Manager
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Bachelor’s degree, in Engineering, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering; or equivalent
- Ability to organize multiple priorities, detailed work and deadlines.
- Knowledge of mechanical components and Turbine Engines.
- Must be flexible, analytical and possess excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Work independently in a team environment.
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Project skills. SAP, TeamCenter knowledge a plus.
