MTU Maintenance Serbia d.o.o

This wholly-owned subsidiary outside of the capital Belgrade is MTU Maintenance’s newest component repair site with a focus on high-value engine parts. At the state-of-the-art facility, experts conduct repairs on fan blades, cases, low-pressure compressor (LPC) airfoils and static parts, as well as composite repairs and painting.

In the coming years, MTU will expand the workforce of the Serbian site to more than 400 engine experts and a capacity of 470,000 repair hours per year. This complements MTU’s current capacity of around 1.9 million annual repair hours across its other sites.

In order to prepare the employees in the best possible way, MTU has developed the Aviation Academy in Belgrade into a leading training center for aviation professions together with the Serbian Ministry of Education.
