MTU at a glance
As Germany’s leading engine manufacturer, MTU Aero Engines is among the best in the world. The company engages in the design, development, manufacture, marketing and support of commercial and military aircraft engines in all thrust and power categories and aeroderivative industrial gas turbines (IGTs). With over 13,000 employees, it is present in all key regions and markets. In Nova Pazova, not far from Belgrade’s international airport, MTU added another state-of-the-art engine parts repair shop to its maintenance network: MTU Maintenance Serbia. For the first time, MTU also supports a combined theory and vocational training program outside Germany, cooperating with universities, schools and the Aviation Academy in Belgrade.
Together, they will train young people who are enthusiastic about an exciting job in a high-tech industry like aviation, turning them into skilled workers for MTU’s world-class team.
