MTU Aero Engines Polska

Engine components for aero engines are produced and assembled at the Rzeszów site in Poland. The portfolio includes low-pressure turbine parts such as blades and vanes, seals, and disks. Components are also manufactured for GE’s LM6000TM series industrial gas turbine. The site, which went into operation in 2009, also deals with the assembly of turbine center frames. In addition, MTU Aero Engines Polska specializes in the repair of engine components and is responsible for the management of accessories under the V2500 program.

The engine components are used in engine programs such as the Pratt & Whitney’s GTFTM engine family or GE’s GE9X and GEnx.

With its activities ranging from development and technology (production engineering as well as design, analysis, project management, materials engineering) to manufacturing, assembly and repair, the site is an essential part of the entire value chain.
