MTU Group Representation Office in Berlin

The German aviation industry is strongly impacted by political decisions made at a national, European and international level. MTU Aero Engines AG’s Group Representation Office at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin serves as an interface between MTU and both national and international politics. The Berlin-based office, therefore, is the central point of contact for all matters concerning political decision makers and government agencies, and maintains a continuous exchange with Members of Parliament and decision makers at a state, national and EU level, as well as with subordinate authorities and the Bundeswehr.

Topics of discussion include Germany as location for industry, innovation, technology development and funding, environmental protection and noise reduction, the relevance of air traffic to society, site development, economic and labor market policy, and export support. MTU pursues its industry-specific interests through its memberships in various industry associations.

All activities are carried out in compliance with the applicable legal and regulatory requirements and with MTU’s Code of Conduct. As a matter of principle, MTU maintains a neutral stance in its political dialog in that it does not favor or promote any political party or faction.
