REPORT is the customer magazine of MTU Aero Engines, Germany's leading engine manufacturer. The biannual publication keeps readers abreast of news and informs them about events and activities within the company and the industry. In its sections Technology + Science, Customers + Partners, Products + Services and Global, you'll find reports and articles on MTU and the World of MTU.

REPORT is available in German and English and is published biannually in spring and fall.

Current issue

The cover story is entitled “Gearing up in record time”: Given the huge number of orders received for the PurePower® engine family, MTU Aero Engines plans to increase its in-house blisk production volume to more than 3,000 copies a year. At the same time, preparations for final assembly of the engine to power the Airbus A320neo are in full swing at MTU’s Munich facility. And here are some other topics covered in this issue: low-pressure turbine airfoils made from titanium aluminide, a material in a class all by itself; the first GP7000 engines powering the A380 now due to come in for scheduled maintenance at MTU Maintenance’s repair shops around the globe; and the deployment of the German Armed Forces’ Tiger support helicopter to Afghanistan.
