Manufacturing processes – High-technology inside and out

Engines are high-tech products. In their production, innovative technologies and processes are used. To keep current technologically, MTU develops innovative manufacturing techniques, such as lasercaving, for which it holds a globally issued patent. Cooling holes are shaped three-dimensionally applying 10,000 or more laser shots per second. The method produces holes of superior cooling action.
