MTU Aero Engines Polska, Rzeszów
As a global player in the engine industry, MTU has established affiliates around the globe. The youngest member of MTU's network of companies was set up in Poland's Aviation Valley: MTU Aero Engines Polska is located in Rzeszów, the capital of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship.
The company, which moved into the premises in 2009, uses highly advanced production facilities to manufacture turbine airfoils and other engine components. Moreover, MTU is concentrating its module assembly activities for a multitude of commercial engine programs at its Rzeszów location. Another field of the Polish affiliate's expertise is the repair of engine components, as for example tubes and honeycomb seals.
In its engineering offices, MTU Aero Engines Polska focuses its efforts on uncooled airfoils, fixture design and software.
