As a global player, MTU Aero Engines operates locations across the world. Its latest addition has been set up in Poland's Aviation Valley. MTU Aero Engines Polska has its home in Rzeszów, the capital of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship.
The new affiliate started operations in 2009. It boasts high-tech facilities for the manufacture of turbine blades and other components. Moreover, MTU has pooled module assembly activities for a variety of commercial engine programs in Rzeszów. Another field of competence of MTU Maintenance Polska is the repair of engine components, such as tubing and honeycomb seals.
MTU Aero Engines Polska's development activities focus on uncooled airfoils, fixture design and software.
