MTU Maintenance do Brasil

Based in São Paulo, the wholly-owned MTU Maintenance subsidiary is an ON-SITEPlus service center for aero engines and industrial gas turbines. It offers nearby customers in South America fast and practical services either on-site or at a dedicated workshop. 

For aero engines, the team provides a broad range of services, including borescope and end‑of‑lease inspections; the replacement of fan blades, top cases, and gearboxes; as well as the repair or replacement of low‑ and high‑pressure compressor vanes. The location holds approvals from the Brazilian Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for GE’s CF34 and GE90 engines, CFMI’s CFM56 and LEAP engines, and IAE’s V2500 engines. The site offers full capabilities for the CF34 and CFM56 engines, on‑wing capabilities for the LEAP engine, and borescope inspection capability for the GE90 and V2500 engines. 

As an IGT field service center, MTU Maintenance do Brasil is equipped with Level 2 tools for on-site work on GE’s LM2500TMand LM6000TM-PC industrial gas turbines and holds all necessary import and export licenses.
