Job Description
• Visual inspection and airworthiness assessment of flight engine components
• Visual inspection and suitability assessment of industrial gas turbine components
• Decision on further use of components that are not navigable / suitable
• Reading, understanding and transmitting instructions from OEMs, customers and process engineering
• Measurement and testing and documentation of results (EDP)
• Definition and initiation of necessary repairs
• Request for new operational maps
• Minor repairs (removal of heavy metal, marking)
• Performing checking operations on semi-finished and finished products
• Compliance with route and work table requirements
• Documentation of results
• Assessment and compliance with parameters and dimensions
• Initiating necessary repairs to tools and measuring equipment
• Recording and handling of deviations and complaints
• Supervision of operator self-examination
 
Job Requirements
• Technical secondary school
• 4th degree
• Several years of experience as an aircraft mechanic or engine mechanic.
• Basic knowledge, but greater affinity for working with computers - SAP, MS Excel, MS Word, ECMS or equivalent
• High perception, teamwork, willingness to work in 3 shifts, very good eyesight (MTU level B1), good analytical skills
• English language (written and oral communication)
