Sustainability reports and documentation

Trust is based on transparency

We’re continuously developing our reporting on environmental and sustainability issues in line with nationally and internationally recognized reporting standards. The Group Sustainability Statement in the MTU Annual Report is supplemented by an ESG Factbook and topic-specific publications on sustainability performance. Our policies and principles are based on internationally recognized standards in the area of sustainability and human rights.

We are a participant in the UN Global Compact and we support the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 and do what we can to help to achieve them.

Reports

Starting in the 2024 financial year, we now prepare our sustainability statement as part of the Annual Report entirely on the basis of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). This statement provides a comprehensive overview of our sustainability performance. In addition, our ESG Factbook - which since 2025 has replaced our earlier Sustainability Report - provides key qualitative and quantitative information on sustainability.
