  • Participate in the preparation or work scopes at the engine and module level by contributing to the work order definition process with the goal of smooth production execution and fulfillment of customer requirements, with a focus on compliance to regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Ensure that procedures, processes, and activities are carried out in accordance with the Maintenance Procedures Manuals and Customer Maintenance Program Requirements, implement corrective and preventative actions as necessary.    
  • Actively and independently monitor processes for Safety, Quality and Environmental Health compliance, implement corrective and preventative actions as necessary.
  • Be familiar with and participate in continuous improvement methods i.e. investigations, risk analysis and problem solving sheets.      
  • Manage internal inspections and work documentation.
  • Assist in handling customer complaints and warranty claims, and prepare technical reports.
  • Independently contribute to and/or lead projects by incorporating technical quality aspects.
  • Provide technical support to process execution personnel. 
  • Perform independent inspections to ensure product quality.
  • Perform other duties as may be directed by the Quality Director.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of internal maintenance policies, procedures and quality management processes (especially for maintenance organizations per FAA guidelines, 14 CFR Part 145 and Part 43, EASA Part 145 and other connected regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate and improve processes.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a proactive, creative approach to challenges.
  • Knowledge of moderation and presentation techniques as well as project management.
  • Independent execution of projects in the subject area
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and general technical data.
  • Must be able to read, speak, write legibly and understand the English language.

Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in an aviation maintenance organization, preferably in quality or process management (technical and process knowledge for audits, process assessments and inspection activities).
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred, Powerplant or Repairman required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
