Tasks

  • Performing welding work on AD material groups
  • Soldering of metal components according to DIN 65228
  • Preparation for processing of engine components and processing of manual repairs in accordance with applicable instructions as well as post processing of components
  • Execution of simple heat treatment tasks
  • Cleaning of engine parts in accordance with applicable regulations, requirements and instructions
  • Proper handling of chemicals
  • Setting up equipment for the task
  • Measuring parts with standard process measuring equipment
  • Execution of predefined automated processes in the software and monitoring their completion
  • Preparing and filling out necessary work documentation
  • Visual inspection & simple tests of repaired parts
  • Equipment troubleshooting / restarting machines after troubleshooting / commision of mainained equipment 
  • Adoption of new tools, repair methods, machinery, and equipment
  • Following and meeting KPIs aligned with organizational goals
  • Maintaining the workplace clean, organized, and ready for work
  • Collaboration with colleagues to maintain quality, safety and production performance objectives at required levels
 

Requirements

  • Completed training in metal processing
  • Many years of experience in the metal industry
  • Welding and soldering certification
  • Computer skills – MS Office
  • Teamwork, flexibility, willingness to work in two shifts, very good visual field
  • English language (verbal and written communication)

The exact scope of work to be performed will be determined in accordance with the previously attained level of qualification/training provided by the employer.
