Tasks

  • Independently working on the topic of complex supplier management, together with the purchasing department and other MTU locations, including defining requirements for supplier selection and approval, supplier quality policy, supplier approval and control, supplier delivery quality assessment
  • Preparation, execution and evaluation of supplier audits
  • Coordination of quality standards with other locations and monitoring compliance with these standards by purchasing and suppliers
  • Ensuring appropriate measures for the further development of suppliers to achieve a zero defect policy
  • Coordination of the supplier ranking system with the purchasing department and MTU Maintenance Hannover GmbH
  • Preparation of a supplier audit plan coordinated with the purchasing department and MTU Maintenance Hannover GmbH based on the supplier assessment and ensuring that this plan is up-to-date and adhered to within one year
  • Responsibility for the accuracy of information for the monthly IMS report and the annual management review report
  • Continuous improvement of the assigned subject area with regard to the efficiency and compliance of processes
  • Independent coordination of the content of the subject area assigned to him within the Maintenance Group and MTU Groups with responsible coordinators

Requirements

  • University degree (mechanical engineering, industrial engineering)
  •  Audit experience (3 years)
  •  Very good computer skills
  •  Technical knowledge and audit processes, process assessment
  •  Extensive knowledge of supplier management and complaint handling
  •  Analytical mind
  •  Methodological knowledge, for example: moderation techniques, targeted meetings, presentation techniques, project management techniques
  •  Organizational ability, assertiveness, teamwork, communication skills, flexibility, general thinking, thinking and acting focused on goals and processes
  • English language (written and fluent oral communication)
  • ISO 9001:2015 (certificate)
  •  Availability for business trips
