Welder school

MTU Aero Engines has been providing welding and brazing qualification training for over 30 years. The courses are delivered by engineers and welding instructors who work in failure analysis and production services. Our new training program offers welding and brazing qualification training in accordance with DIN ISO 24394 and DIN ISO 11745, respectively.

MTU’s welder's school is a DVS®-training institution and -examination center for welding and brazing for aerospace applications within the scope of DIN ISO 24394 and DIN ISO 11745.

Prior to starting the training, certain eligibility criteria as specified in DIN ISO 24394 (welding) or DIN ISO 11745 (brazing) must be met, for example evidence of satisfactory vision must be provided. Participants are required to bring their own safety shoes and protective clothing to wear for the duration of the practical part of the course and for the practical examinations. Classes are held Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Current course fees and dates are available on request (minimum number of participants: 4 persons). The course fees cover practical and theoretical training, including training materials. Upon successful completion of the training or qualification tests, participants are issued with a certificate of participation or a qualification test certificate.
