Munich, March 21, 2023 – At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of MTU Aero Engines AG agreed with the Executive Board’s dividend proposal: A proposal for a dividend payment of €3.20 per share for the 2022 fiscal year will be submitted to the Annual General Meeting on May 11, 2023. That is a year-on-year increase of €1.10 (52 percent).

“The highest dividend since MTU Aero Engines AG’s IPO is our thank-you to our shareholders for their loyalty,” said Gordon Riske, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, after the meeting. “The significant increase in the dividend also reflects our confidence in the sustained earnings power of MTU.” Lars Wagner, CEO of MTU Aero Engines AG, added: “MTU’s financial strength enables the payment of a record dividend. At the same time, it leaves us headroom for value-creating growth projects, so that MTU can continue its profitable growth track in 2023.”

The dividend will be paid to shareholders on May 16, 2023, following the resolution of the Annual General Meeting.
