Markus Wölfle joined communications team of MTU Aero Engines AG

Munich, May 25, 2018 – Markus Wölfle (40) became Director Corporate Communications of Munich-based engine maker MTU Aero Engines AG as of 1 May. In this function he is in charge of the MDAX-listed company’s positioning towards media, public and employees. He reports to Eckhard Zanger, Senior Vice President Corporate Communications & Public Affairs.

Wölfle provides a comprehensive professional experience in both communications and the aerospace industry. Since 2015, he had been Head of Communications and Political Affairs at Premium AEROTEC, Europe’s biggest aerostructures supplier for commercial and military aircraft. Prior to that he led the company’s internal and online communications activities from 2011 onwards. Markus Wölfle began his professional career at Airbus‘ corporate communications department in 2003 (at that time: EADS). Before he joined Premium AEROTEC he served from 2009 onwards as Head of Communications and Corporate Affairs at aerospace supplier and aircraft conversion specialist EFW Elbe Flugzeugwerke in Dresden.
