MTU Maintenance Serbia - General information
MTU Maintenance Serbia
In Nova Pazova, a community about 25 kilometers north of Belgrade’s international airport, MTU is setting up a new engine parts repair shop: MTU Maintenance Serbia. The state-of-the-art facility is part of the MTU Maintenance network and a wholly owned subsidiary of MTU Aero Engines. Worldwide, the company’s locations perform about 1.9 million repair hours annually. The new shop in Serbia is set to add some 470,000 repair hours of capacity per year. MTU Maintenance Serbia aims to grow to 400–500 employees by 2027.
The commercial engine maintenance business is growing steadily and is a key driver of MTU’s business success. Adding a site in Serbia provides flexibility and strengthens MTU’s global competitiveness. Operations are scheduled to start in December 2022.
